Files are synced between the OneDrive folder on user’s PCs. If they choose to turn it on it starts uploading document changes, new pictures when you have a stable internet connection. If they choose to turn it off nothing else happens. Users are asked whether they’d like to turn it on or turn it on during the setup process. By Making Windows users jump through hoops to access OneDrive they made it more complex, guaranteeing that many users wouldn’t take advantage of the service. I thought I'd found the solution myself - I went to Settings>Accounts (which includes sync) then "sync your settings" (it's at the bottom of the list on my PC), then 'turn off sync settings'. It's working on 5,000 - odd files but my SuperAntiSpyware checks 13,000-odd. It's syncing and I can't stop it - it kept at it for a week earlier & the OneDrive Support Team said it was stuck and told me how to restart it. Previously, OneDrive worked perfectly but now it's a nightmare. Hi Brink - I recently renewed my Office Home 365 Personal.
